Would it be possible....

Post by Out~C~ast »

To make Jurassic Park Trespasser online? like 2 player or something, playing through the story, or with more players, it would be quite interesting... or even vs, though im sure alot of hard work  so much can be done with this game to make it what it was meant to be, if only they gave them more time to finish it

I think that they were thinking about multiplayer as an add-on, but it never happened. I doubt it's possible without the source code.

IIRC, on an interview they mention they decided not to include multiplayer...

doesn't really fit the story, part of the reason I'm having to do my movie thing as a sequel (that and I'm a guy)

Well then we could do like a vs mode, around the island, where you have to hunt down the other person with the dinosaurs around and everything, itd be interesting

are you volunteering? because I sure can't do much beyond simple editing. A Trespasser inspired movie is what bought me here, that and a love of the game. most of the guys who can are tied up with their own dreams too.

Yeah, hmm... someone should make a tutorial so new people can get a shot at editing, I know its hard, but when you got experiance anything is possible, Ive worked on games on RPG maker, and been on forums, and some people make action adventure games out of RPG maker, which I didn't think was possible, its all in the coding, anything can be possible with some hard work of course... and dreams require this, I look forward to your movie, and also look forward to this game improving

I'll have you know, Shadow Wolf, that multiplayer and Co-op rarely fits the story. That's why Bungie had to make edited parts of Halo 3 for online co-op option (some cut scenes, dialog, and plot points change to accommodate the extra player(s)) As for Online battles (everyone for themselves, team battles, CTF, etc), they never have anything to do with SP but sometimes have elements/locations from the SP.

I didn't say anything about considering multiplayer, I'm just saying that due to circumstances I'm doing my Trespasser fan made movie as a sequal

The original post was on multiplayer, and you replied to a post about considering multiplayer, and you said that it wouldn't fit the story, in other words, I'm saying that it rarely works out that the Co-op fits the story.
