Jurassic Park: Ruins

If anyone is thinking of making a complete Isla Nublar mod for Trespasser. Ruins could be a good title. Actually second its mine now., my idea, anyone nicks it I will kill you with a lightsabre. (ok, matt calm down.) What I mean is the idea is Anne lands on the 'ruins' of Isla Nublar. The facilities aren't completely dismantled but just abandoned (like Sorna) and basically it will have all the places we know and love but of course, in ruins. Anyone else wanting to help make this idea a reality. I dunno when I'll start cuz I'm busy over at MG trying to hack the TML/TMD file formats, but this could provide a great JP mod for Trespasser.

You're stealing MY idea! It may not have the same title but it is the same idea, Nublar in ruins. Please people, check before you start saying this things. He is implying in his post that he is the only one who can work on this idea, and threatens those who want to work on it with a lightsaber. Then he says he's copyrighted it. You can't copyright something without buying the rights to what you are using. (IE Trespasser, Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar...) If he attempts to make it a rip off of my level, I will boycott it.

I think he was joking about the copywright thing and he is just throwing out ideas and I think that he meant that the level name would be a good idea.

Come on, calm down people. I didn't think Matt was being very serious when he talked about the copyright. And let's face it, it's not very original. Every Jurassic Park fan has at least thought of going back to Nublar once. And personally, I don't mind seeing more than one version.

So please stop b*tching at each other and start building

Things that he could avoid to keep his version different from mine.

1. Storyline wouldn't have anything major to do with BioSyn taking DNA samples on the island (He could have evidence of them being there at some point, like in Tres). My storyline has a lot to do with BioSyn doing this, over the first two projects.

2. He would not include a second level with a laboratory on the mainland.

3. Build it without studying the images in my Nublar level to make his similar, he should, however, use Jurassic Park as his main source, as I'm doing.

4. I would allow him to use Dr. Dino's map, cause it's cool.

5. The main building for the lodge is my idea, don't rip it. He should make his own lodge.

6. Any designs of complexes outside of the visitor compound are most likely mine and my team's, don't rip these either (he can't currently as they've yet to be designed.)

7. Offer some originality, in other words don't put every structure from JPOG in it.

8. Darkraider is from my team, but he can work with Matt. He is the Beta tester for my level and won't be able to tell you much as the level is far from finished beta wise.

9. I've got a three year head start on research, I will help him with some details, but others I will expect him to know.

10. He shouldn't say his idea is original, it'll make my levels look like a rip.

It'll be odd having two mods for Tres about Jurassic Park, so let us begin.

Besides, my thread is like two below this, with a long title "Jurassic Park the Mod Production Thread," and has one of those hot topic (not the store) icons, so it's hard to miss, which is why I also said that people should check on things before they post what may or may not be true.

Out of simple respect, if 1 individual is already working on a level with a particular plot guiding the design, no one else should begin a similar project. It's just not the right thing to do.....
