Trespasser Legos!

Post by Draconisaurus »

Hello. For many weeks now I've been picking up and building Lego. Was a slow start with only small models, but I've worked up to big areas and things. Here's some of my work:

Very nice! :D I especially like the church one and your idea for how to do the trees :)

I like your plantation house

I wish we had an updated Lego Creator type game so we could build with the newer bricks. Possibly in VR. That would kind of be cool, having to rummage through a virtual tub of lego, looking for the piece you want :D

Thanks guys.

Tatu or someone mentioned that the Lego Worlds game was made as a sort of virtual build-whatever game, but it didn't really catch on. Personally I think there's no substitute for having the physical bricks.

Glad you finally posted this!
I want to note that the Google Album link don't work unless you login to a Goggle account, so you might want to post the images here right away?
Sadly there is no proper modern LEGO game. LEGO Worlds did start out as freebuild, but they reworked the game to only allow pre-builds sadly!

Amen to that, wish they weren't so expensive though

Kids have lego worlds on the switch, it's not too bad top play

Neat. I would personally dislike to take apart everything I build like this all the time!

I like your Summit-style buildings. The Church scene is also really good as well, looks very Trespasser-ish. Would be cool if you recreated some more Tres locations in Lego format.

Building Legos can be quite beneficial for skills development.

Hey Drac, why not try building up your models so that the "background" takes up the entire frame of your pictures? Would do a great job of selling it further! :)

That's why I'm glad I got into miniature-building myself. So relaxing to put stuff together and then be able to paint it when you feel like it, and I always feel so satisfied after finishing a paint job. LEGO is great for this sort of thing as well, though I've never really been into using LEGO as a model-building tool rather than as a toy to play with. But I can totally understand why you guys love it so much. :)

Those InGen workers won't look so happy when the raptor finds its way to the other side of the glass...
