TPA Sound Name Catalogues
Hello. I have now finished TPA name list catalogues for Ambient, Effects, and SoundMaterials. While machf's expert exel spreadsheets show us clearly all the sounds present, the organization within each TPA is a bit all over the place (as the crew of the SS Venture). So, I took the time to make catagories for the various sounds in each TPA group.
I've left out Stream TPA, as I feel the organization in extant online resources already suits it well enough. Menu TPA is also small and not warranting a catalogue.
The files below are meant as a resource for modders, to see clearly what is available for the type of sound they're looking for.

Are these complete, Drac? Effects.TPA seems to be missing a lot of files...

I didn't include sounds that are only used by the foley table, as those are special cases rare for modding. Of course you can look them up on your own.

Neat!
I do believe the Effects one is missing all the gun SFX for example, but unsure if Draco excluded those on purpose?

Re: TPA Sound Name Catalogues
Alright, per TI's request, I have written a catalogue of the Effects sounds used by SoundMaterials. There are lots of repeats; sets of sounds include things like "drag-metal-dirt-heavy", which is found both under [Metal] and [Dirt]. I'm not perfect so let me know if you find any errors.

Re: TPA Sound Name Catalogues
TresCom Discord members Type-O and John Hammond discovered while playing Tatu's Isla Sorna mod that "Boulder Medium" makes an error sound when impacted. Tatu looked into this and found that the foley table is missing an entry for that sound material... soooo it should not be put on models, to avoid the sound. I've updated the SoundMaterial catalogue above to label this material as "faulty".

No. The foley table is set to play the "missing" sound when "Boulder Medium" and "Terrain - Cement" collide.Draconisaurus wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 7:57 pm TresCom Discord members Type-O and John Hammond discovered while playing Tatu's Isla Sorna mod that "Boulder Medium" makes an error sound when impacted.
