96 is only needed if you want it for collecting purposes, otherwise it is identical to 97 except for the engine, which probably only contain minor fixes comparing to the 96 one. Levels are exactly the same.Melber wrote:I was looking unsuccessfully. Did anyone find version 96? or do not need to have it because it's the same as 97?

Hi welcome!Bugnotnotthegreat wrote:The PC Gamer version just goes to a black screen and crashes for me.
The PC Gamer version is an alpha build so it will have issues on modern computers.
Does it crash when you start it or does it happens when you load a level?

Re: Download: Early Trespasser Builds
It does it when a boot the game. It just changes my monitor res to 640X480 and then goes to a black screen, then it kicks me to desktop and it closes. I was thinking of running it in a vm but my proccesor dosen't allow me to run VMs from before Xp and are above or below 32 bit. Also can I ask why it asks to delete a dll in system 32 when uninstalled?

Re: Download: Early Trespasser Builds
It is common that games from the 90's put dll's in the system 32 folder, and then asked if you wanted to remove them when uninstalling. Just select no if you are worriedBugnotnotthegreat wrote:It does it when a boot the game. That is weird. Are you on a laptop? Some laptops have 2 graphic cards (one integrated and one external), try changing to the "better" one. Have you tried running the exe with Windows 98 compatibility in the Preference settings of it?
