Does anyone have the original programs?

Post by Bryankd2015 »

I was wondering if anyone had the original programs that they used to create trespasser or not. I was sent a CD rom in the mail with some original code supposedly from trespasser and it is really buggy. The levels I got off the disk are scrambled and wont even load properly, but might be able to be fixed, I am working on it, but it would help if anyone ever got the original program editors to work.

I got 2 cd's in the mail, along with the beta I got, I also got a disc supposedly with the source code and a bunch of level files.. am pretty sure. They will not open in game yet, and are not opening properly in tresed.. something about file corrupted, but I am working on them. The files are all dated between 1997 to 1998. I got 1 to open, it is an alternate to the in town lvl and another one it points to that only says pl on the files.

I will keep you updated as to what I learn about them.

Hey Bryankd2015 would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of the content of the cds? :)

Hey Bryankd2015,

that is quite cool. Could you look up the information on the Trespasser.exe file and post them here? That way we can tell which version the software is that you received.

Also: Any chance you can post the content of both cds here? (Screenshot perhaps?)

Thanks,
Paul

sorry about the size.. I didnt know they would come out so big anything else you wanna know.. tell me what file or screenshots you need, the levels listed have pretty much failed trying to load.. not sure what if anything is on them. What I was told was that these all came off a old computer that dreamworks owned, and the person that sent me the cd's said this was all he could recover off of it.

Very old friend of mine and I trust him, but I am gonna need some help to build the source code if anyone can help.

I replied to that.. and I also found several little programs that are dos based, but I am not too sure how they work, they are inside the source code.

I will post a screen of the programs I found in there.
