You need to open up the skipper's steamer trunk. ;)

IIRC, I couldn't figure out how to open the trunks lol.. I only found out, after searching "everywhere", by flying into its mesh.

Ok, first of all sorry for reviving this old topic, BUT...

I'm so royally stucked! Seriously, the level is so great that its one of the very first Tres levels when you can get stuck for hours! It's awesome!
But if someone would like to help me, I can't find the crate that has the flares inside for the flare gun. Anyone would like to help?

Thanks in advance!

In the boat, above one of the doors, there's a sign with the word "SKIPPER" written on it. In that room lies the "crate" you are looking for. The "key" to the trunk is just outside the bunker.

Cool, thanks a lot! But now I'm stuck with the "oiling" part. I've oiled everything but nothing seems to work! Any help? :D

If you really need to sneak a peak, there's a quick walkthru here. ;)

If you don't care to look, the only useful hint I could offer is you need the oilcan to lubricate something(s) on the tower.

I'm trying not to look at the walkthrough, so thanks for the tip! Wish me luck! :)
