Were you able to open the password program under Linux in order to open the TC-Isle or did you have to have Windows assistance like me? That's the only part of TC-Isle level I couldn't get to open with Cedega/Winex.
No, I can't. My laptop has Win98/Mdk9.2 dual boot so that I can extract&install TC-Isle in Windows then play it in Linux. And I use the winex 3.3.1 rpm from http://ivanleo.spedia.net/ , perhaps now it's time I shall try the cvs-20041223 version on that site...

Mmmm... I can't run Trespasser with the Cedega-cvs on my laptop, and therefore I switch back to WineX-3.3.1...
Dan, I noticed that when I run TC-Isle&TresED with Winex, they wrote new tpass.ini&tresed.ini in my home directory and didn't read the original *.ini files. Did that happen to you as well?
This is an area I'm not familiar with. How would I know that it wrote new ones? Would it help to post the contents of my .ini files here? I think I know where they are.
yochenhsieh, are you notiicing tremendous stability when running TresEd under Winex? IsToR and I did a few experiments running TresEd under Linux, and never could get it to crash!

If I'm remembering correctly, there seems to be at least one early version of Cedega that wouldn't allow you to even load the game. I'm not sure I remember which one. The next release came out pretty quickly and ran Trespasser very well, so I was then happy. The latest version, 4.2 is the best yet!
yochenhsieh, you should send Transgaming.com your screenshots of Trespasser running under Winex. They are always wanting screenshots of games running successfully with it to post on their website, and I never did send them one of the actually game running.

By default(in Windows), Trespasser demo(TC-Isle) & TresED write *.ini file in the same directory where the *.exe is. For example, I installed TC-Isle at "D:\TC-Isle" and it created "D:\TC-Isle\tpass.ini". After I run TC-Isle in Linux and changed my settings, I found a new tpass.ini in my home and the original tpass.ini wasn't modified.
So, just check where you installed TC-Isle at and where is the tpass.ini which has your settings...
Maybe I didn't explain it in the right direction...
If you have TC-Isle installed at "/somewhere/TC-Isle", it should read and write "/somewhere/TC-Isle/tpass.ini" like it should did in Windows. However, in my case, it created a new ini file "/home/user/tpass.ini" and all my settings were saved there.
If you're not sure how to check that, just run TC-isle and change your settings, then find out which file has your changes.
It's convenient that different users have their own settings in their home directory. I can also run the game in Windows&Linux with different settings.
