Anyone have ideas for custom levels?
Just curious what would be a good level idea. I know its the anniversary and im pretty good at making terrains so I figured I would ask around what ideas people have.
I'm not great at general level design but I can make some spiffy landscapes. So if anyone is thinking about getting together for a level let me know.

Well, the Tresiverse is vast. What are some things you imagine might make a nice level? I may be available for small amounts of new asset making.

Why take a look at some pictures or videos landscapes and go from there? Find something you like and recreate it!

How about a Five Night at Freddies style level?
Was going to try myself, but enough trouble with re-learning another engine.
Basic plan was, you're on night shift to look after the radio mast during a storm. You have a small building with the essentials and a monitoring station. The generator, a yard or so away across the little compound needs to be rebooted every so often. Dinosaurs would be sneaking about. Inside the monitoring station you get vague motion sensor that tells you something is moving outside.
If you don't reboot the generator when it goes off its game over after a so many seconds.
Limited ammunition and very slow healing. I'm sure the scripting was all capable to pull it off, but been a while.
Level would be very small, so just really scripting and maybe coulple new models be the majority of work.

Sounds pretty interesting. Does anyone remember SlenderRaptor the mod? It reminds me of that. I forget who made it.

I think that would be possible in Trespasser. It probably requires quite a good amount of scripting, but based on past levels, should be possible!

Re: Anyone have ideas for custom levels?
That does sound interesting, and certainly achievable. Dinosaur path finding could be a bit finnicky, though, especially if you're going to be going through corridors.
I'm still dying to see a good horror-themed level, with sound effects and scripted, short-notice dinosaur attacks.

Re: Anyone have ideas for custom levels?
well we could prolly make a giant skateboard and place it on a hill
Re: Anyone have ideas for custom levels?
I just played the demo and there's no way that's going in trespasser lol. All those curves. Imagine the collision boxes.
For some reason when you said the demo level I was thinking of the warehouse. But its an outdoor park in the 2nd game. Anyway, I'm thinking about making a park now just for fun. What can we call it? Sueurass-ic Park? Not a clue.
Hiding under the mini ramp to escape a trex? Pick up a skateboard and hit the raptor with it like Nedry's mace?
Edit: I'm glad this trick worked. Now if only terrains could have bumpmaps... Prolly kill the framerate though lol.
just teasing
neat huh? hehe. I'll just make some decent looking ramps and lay them out like a park and add dinos and guns and stuff and see how it plays. Obviously the terrain is just a large terrain object with a single low res texture, for those interested. I think it fits a park level, for the distance. I can use detail up close for the park textures though.

Re: Anyone have ideas for custom levels?
Hmmmm. Parkour in Trespasser?
Also - as far as horror Trespasser mods go, it was actually "Slender Park" I was thinking of. I highly recommend this level by Awesome, who used to be a regular member:
