Merry Tres/Christmas everyone! Spent a few days this past month and put together a level so we all have a cool Christmas-themed Tres level to play for the holiday. Did one two years ago called Industrial Forest 3, and this one picks up where that one left off. Machf, just for you, there are no snow fall textures ;)

I just tried this out a few minutes ago, Drac. I really like the environment, so I'll continue playing through it later on today. I'm tempted to add my snowfall into it my for own winterish taste. One thing though; is it my imagination or does Anne move slower in CE?

Other: Love that dark smoke animation, that is sweet, and your snowman. Also, the small shrubs are excellent looking. Lastly, I can't find enough weapons to stay alive long enough to figure out how to end the level (I'm assuming there is one).

Your own snowfall, eh... The previous winter level had falling snow but it slowed down the level for some people. What kind are you adding?

Anne moving slower.. I'm sure that's an illusion by how closely packed the trees and terrain are.
As for weapons - I tried to keep it with several weapons but still difficult, since people here seem to like fewer weapons in levels. You can also try jumping to get away.. And yes the level ends 8) Thanks for commenting!

Man, there are a lot of raptors! :eek: I was able to get to the village, but couldn't figure out what to do from there. There were (ironically) a lot of Easter eggs. Was that floating couch supposed to be there? All in all, I liked it, it was a nice little level, but had too many enemies and/or not enough weapons and the objective isn't very clear.

Nice level. We need more winter-themed ones. I like how well the music fit with the bus. Could easily have radios in Trespasser (ofc there would be the copyright issue with songs).

I manage to unlock the shed, but otherwise I have no clue on what to do either. I did miss having some sound effect when you walking on something.
I'll avoid to take a look in TresEd until we get some hint on how to finish the level. :P

Merry Christmas and also Happy New Year! What better way to spend New Year's alone playing Trespasser? :P
Anyway, giving the level a go now. I actually just popped on here to see if there was anything to play as I haven't scratched the Trespasser itch for a while now...

Sooo, Tatu found the key, that's the first thing. It goes to more than one lock ;)

Tatu, what surface had no sound as you walked on it? The snow uses the "Terrain - Sound" sound material.
Getting the impression there should have been more guns, or possibly fewer raptors. I used the general fan preference for fewer guns around, plus the knowledge that you can jump away most of the time.. 'Nyways its good feedback for the future.
And yeah, I figured we could all use a new level :statue:

I haven't given it a go yet, but I must say I believe it would be in level designer's interest to edit the stamina script and remove everything but the jump limitation. It just doesn't feel fair for players to be hopping their way to safety. I get a lot of exciting action from not jumping away - it forces you to use the terrain to your advantage and try to out-smart the AI.

That's the only lock I found, will take another look this weekend.

Any terrain? The snow didn't make any sound nor did the mountain? part I walked on.

Oh btw, are the sheds from TC-Level next to the water tower suppose to have no physics? I can walk through them.
