My brother didn't want to shoot dinosaurs, but groundhogs.

Minimum Screen Resolution: 1280 x 1024
Windows OS: XP(SP2) or Higher

*Tested only on my machine -

OverView: The game is simple; shoot the damn gophers! Points
range from 25 to 100. Reach 1000 pts., shoot the crow and thats
worth 200 points. The deer poking out behind the tree is worth a
decent 50 points. (Smaller crow is worth 500 pts.)

Each successive round is a multiple of 1200. Example: to reach
round 3 you need 2400 pts., round 4 you need 3600 points. The
game will continue until to fail to reach the next plateau or you can-
cel the game -

Note: You can shoot the gopher, the deer and the crow for points,
but shooting the cow will cost you 200 points! It's a docile, domes-
ticated creature, why would you want to shoot that poor thing?

PS: Don't know who made the cow, someone from trescom, I just
don't remember who!

I think it may be the cow from JPOG, which I rigged for Trespasser...

EDIT: Hey! I did better than with the dinos... 11.

Much better! T'was 4 with the dinos, wasn't it? I knew I got the
cow from the forums, I just couldn't remember who actually rigged
the thing. So, thanks. :)

I don't know why that'd be, Drac. I tested in on my xp and my brother's win10 machine and it worked fine. I checked
the upload and that worked too. What's your system specs? You could try running it in xp sp3 compatibility mode, but
that really shouldn't be necessary. The code is all std. win api 32 and std. c++ stuff -

I see nothing out of the ordinary with your specs. I checked it on a windows 10 desktop,
a laptop, it worked, man. When you hit the 'start button', nothing happens? The only sys-
tem requirement is min. screen resolution (1280 x 1024), other than that, there's nothing
I can think of as to why it won't work on your computer. I can't check it out since I can't
duplicate the problem on the systems I have access to.

Try out the tpass_quikshot program here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=10951

That's basically the same program, just graphically different. If that one doesn't work either,
then there's something about the code that your comp. just doesn't like.

That other game you linked works fine... So the issue is that I can't see the controls (for the one in this thread); I assume they are below the height of the bottom of my screen. Could you possibly make a resolution selector? My monitor is already running at max screen res - 1366 x 768.

Well, I'd have to redo the animations and that's more time than I have atm.
Best I can do is allow you to move the window, via keyboard arrow keys so
you can access the controls. :( That zip's below -

Thanks Reb! :D Fun game. The arrow keys only work until the game starts but it poses no issue.

Yah, the keyboard will lose focus once the game starts. I never made allowances for that since I hadn't planned on any keyboard interaction. Glad you got a little kick out of it though. ;)
