hppav's models

Hello. This thread will be where I will release models and consider modelling requests.

So yeah, I'm switching my primary focus from making levels to making content people can put into levels. I feel this is my strong point overall. Once a model is released it is free to use by anyone for any level. You can edit the mesh, textures, etc as much as you like. Make requests for models you would like to see and I will do my best to make them for you. I have been using 3ds Max for 9 years and have become quite proficient at it. You can see some of my work in the level East Dock. Just remember, the more complex the object is that you want modeled (like a building), the more time it will take for me to model it, make the physics objects, and get it working in game with textures. Some less complex models make take priority for the sake of getting stuff off the list.

REQUESTS:
Mobile Command Center Trailers from the Lost World - glitchhunter09

ALMOST READY FOR RELEASE:
Breaker Box from the Maintenance Shed (100% working in-game, needs some texture tweaking)
Computer - IRIS Crimson (Needs some texture work and scripting)
Computer - IRIS Indigo (Needs some texture work and scripting)
Computer - Macintosh Quadra 700 (100% Done. Need to package and upload somewhere)
Computer - Thinking Machines Connection Machine 5 (100% Done. Need to package and upload somewhere)
Jurassic Park Explorer 05 (90% Done. Need to decrease poly count on some details and add in a few others)
Jurassic Park Gates (95% Done.)

Here's a shot of the Mobile Command Center so far:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Having my collection still available (which includes many photos of it on the studio backlot tour) really helps to get the details on this side of the trailer, which is only visible really in one shot in the movie.

That looks awesome Hppav! =D Thanks for doing this! After you release it, I'm probably gonna do a skin based on this version of the Toy version of the Mobile Command Center from the Chaos Effect Toyline:
Image
It's the only repaint the toy ever got. It's actually rarer than the original but has everything except the Kelly Malcom figure. In fact, it has no bonus figures.... anyway I'm going off topic. The point is, I'm gonna make a new skin for the model once you're finished based upon the above toy. Ugly paintjob? Yes. However, it fits My Chaos Effect Skin series I'm doing. ;)

I haven't really done anything organic save for Nedry's torso in East Dock (Draco did the limbs and head). I really should get some practice in that area, lol.

I could give the ultimasaurus a try

Edit: A quick mock up of what it could look like

Just as long as it doesn't have the skinny legs of your Carnotaurus or the drumstick legs of your NanoTyrannus, I think we'll be good. lol. (and yes, I am a little hungry making this post. XD) Anyway, when you finish the model, you should probably post it in another thread. lol.

Here's how big Ultimasaurus should be in comparison with a human: Image

Also, there's a bit of Stegosaurus tail mixed in with the Ankylosaurus tail. ;)

Like I said that's just a quick mock up. And as for the carno and nanotyrannus, I didn't make either of those models. All I did with the ultimasaurus was take parts from other models and situate them to look kind of like the ultimasaurus

Well i guess that was just to show that it's possible...but I've given up because despite saving the work, upon re opening, all my save files were corrupted somehow and the model warped beyond recognition

Wow, some nice models you have there, hppav. Some of which were on a list of things for something I plan to do later... nice timing I guess  It also seems that quite a few of the things on that list are from Isla Nublar. Good I guess for those tying to do some stuff on that island
