Uploaded a new update. Since this is on a new page, here is the link.

Take a look at some of the new stuff I've added and let me hear your comments. CAnimal info is still far from complete, it takes time to add all that stuf...

Hmmm, seems to be the same new link as earlier.. But yeah, am kinda busy tonight so I'll try and find time to look at it properly later on. A brief glimpse at CAnimal looks good. :)

Of course it's the same link, I'm updating the document, not adding a new one. And as I said, since I'making the announce in a new page, I'm posting the link again (won't post it again until the thread has another page).

Just uploaded another update, CAnimal info is still far from complete.
Does anybody know what CriticalHit really is for? As far as I can tell, it's definitely nor for what has been suggested previously on the forum...

Though I've uploaded a copy to a different location,

From now on, this will be the one I'll update, the other will be deleted eventually.

Quick note regarding play animation. It seems that forced rate equates to framerates (0 being default - 30fps?). Regarding something that I was screwing with and wanting to speed it up, setting the forced rate to '12' sped up the animation by 2+.

Whoa whoa whoa.. This is important. I have had lots of trouble with that forced rate setting.. the moving figure in RJ2008 moves at a much slower rate for me than when I first released the level and I have no idea, and it messed up the synch with the music and user-control lock.. Does this mean if the game is running at better or worse framerates, the ASA animations will run at different speeds?!

I believe that they're separate, Drac. If for instance forced_rate is set to 0, it'd take 30 frames for your animation to get to point a to point b. Now, whether that would take 3 seconds or 10 seconds, I imagine that would figure in on actual framerates at that given time. Set forced_rate to 15, fifteen frames total up your animations from point a to point b. I think the point is that the animations can be forced out of sync with realtime fps. I think - that wasn't my actual aim in screwing with the settings. But, I believe that if you set your forced rate at or below your real fps, they your animation should be able to be synchronized for dependable timed event play.

There's a new update, in case you want to check it out. Although I still need to make further tests. And I'll be adding more as I find out how it all works.
