Hey all!
So, after a long time, I'm wanting to play Trespasser again.
I have my CD, the 1.1 official patch, the CE patch and the HD textures.
I just can't work out how it all goes together.
Please can anyone help me out here
Here's what I did:
1. Copied all the files from the cd to a directory on my HDD and removed my CD
2. Installed Trespasser from HDD (Full Installation)
3. Installed official 1.1 patch
4. Installed CE patch. Extracted Tpas-ce and Contrib to install directory
5. Installed HD Pack. Extracted texhw to the Data directory of the HDD CD directory
So...is this right, is there a better way to do this, I've read about portable installs and bits but theres so much conflicting info out there.
Cheers peeps!

Re: Confused about installation...
Welcome to TresCom!
Is there something that is not working? From what I can tell you have done it correctly.
A portable install is basically that you use the demo to make it portable. It uses the tpass.ini instead of the registry to work as a portable installation, and you put the contents of the /data folder on the CD into the /data folder of the demo, and replace any file it asks to.

Between 3 and 4, you're missing one step:
3.5: Run the Trespasser executable and configure the options.
