I stumbled across this video on Reddit. Somebody is working on a framework for Unity3d that allows very impressive interaction with the environment in VR. I couldn't help but imagine what this kind of level of interaction would do to a possible Trespasser remake. Just see for yourself. If OP will ever release this framework it would open a whole new frontier for us to explore and play with. I hope I can post a Reddit link here

Trespasser is the sort of game that should have encouraged other game developers what they should have been doing.

I can't help feel reading interviews that Seamus Blackley and his team knew what the future was and that enough promise about the future from silicon manufacturers indicated a considerable jump in PC performance.
The only jump I remember is when Intel released the Conroe over a decade later. Before that, it was awful.
I also remember AMD's FX which cost $700.

It's not Seamus' fault. It's the drip feeding of CPU tech that inched along but furlonged the cost of getting those inches.
