I would imagine that the monorail would have been for carrying passengers, leaving the main line for deliveries to the dock and other areas by freight, but perhaps passenger as well. A train would not exactly work with peoples work shifts, so bea a bit impractical to make it a main form of island travel except of course for long coast to coast journeys.
What's probably needed is the map with a train line drawn to link each area. In fact what map is being used, I assume its the trespasser sorna map?

Yep, as we've said, the train is almost exclusively for freight.

idk. Not much I can come up with that could have inappropriate alternate meaning for "TS" that any ordinary person, such as myself, would associate. It would be like renaming a level from Coastal Ridge to Coastal Mountains because CR could mean Child Rape. However, I could also think CR stood for Costa Rica, Club of Rome, Canadian Rights, Canada is Right, Citizen's Rights, etc. Just because two letters could mean something doesn't mean that the majority would think that it does.

Heck, I'll do it with the retail levels.
BE - Bowel Excretions (Admit it, BE is the most lacking level )
JR - Just Right (JR is awesome)
IJ - Indecisive Jury (IJ is just.. different)
IT - Improper Timing (It's obvious that it's not the end when you come to it so quickly)
LAB - Love Alot of Barrels (Seriously, what's with all the barrels?)
AS1 - All Superb (AS1 kicks serious ass.)
AS2 - Awful Shit (AS2.. Doesnt)
SUM - Shit Up on a Mountain (What the hell? This ain't no climax.)
