2 reasons for allowing windows to handle the installation. 1, so people don't go screwin' around with the folder's contents (ie. thinking they can either delete or move files out of the program folder) and secondly, on 64bit systems, the program seems to work faster when windows packs it into the {pf} program files folder.

But yeah, I'll pack up a zip for a standalone (see below).

Version below removed (obsolete)

Bleh I hate installers. Want to be able to have icons and move them around as I see fit. Still don't like that about the original version of the first TC level.

Thanks, Rebel. Works like a charm. :)
I would hope none of us would make the mistake of deleting the files, though.

Player updates: (ver. 4.0.9.10)

Added function to mass export (as .cau files) all entries within a loaded .tpa file.
Added function to convert a selected (external).cau file into a standard .wav file.
Compiled Help_Files Updated acccordingly -

The New Menu Items:

* Mass export function (SaveAll_Caus) will save an exported .tpa entry with its
assigned in_game sample name if known, otherwise any unknowns will save
by assigning the .cau file the name of the tpa, appended with its entry number.

**Be advised, exporting hundreds of sounds ( such as 600+ sounds inside of
the beta's Stream.tpa file and the Effects.tpa) can take upwards of 15 secs or
more to complete. It's advisable not to attempt any other operation (eg. don't
touch any of the controls and/or menu selects) until notified that the operation
has been completed.

*Cau_to_Wav: The produced .wave file will be labeled with the same name as
that of the cau file it was created from.

Huh I got excited until you didn't mention a mass-WAV-export function. Not sure how long the app would take to carry out such a task... I uh, it would be handy to pick through a bunch of WAV files, and listen only to ones with unknown or unfamiliar names..

Love the new Export all CAU with the filenames. However, I notice the know names are not updated. When I write this, after exporting the Ambient, Effects & Stream TPA from build 22, several are missing known ID that is in machf's files. :)

Yeah, the SndIds.dat file doesn't include all the known names from those files, but they can be added you provided
you maintain the correct formatting within the SndIds file. If you have a list along with their crc values, I could add
them all in for you.

Drac, it isn't that i can't write up code to do just that, but it'd be a considerably slower export. I might do it when I
find the time though, it'll just come with a msgbox similar to the one for the .cau export stating that these processes
take a good amount of seconds to complete if dealing with a large tpa file -

When I run out of reasons to update the program, I suppose. Maybe I'll just offer the newest version
I just finished (pertaining to what Draco was hoping for) by request only. ;) lol

Ver: 40910 was an update I made weeks ago when I realized I had to rebuild the original trescom tpa
file, I only released it this morning since I to recompile because of a few changes made and update the
help files -

After a while just start making new releases with random additions... A button in the corner that plays a GIF of a random balloon popping, a button that makes Anne say "Are these even legal?" Etc.

Now, that'd be purposely pissing off, machf (let's not do that. lol ). Anyways, if you want the version that exports
all as wavs let me know by pm. I'll send you a link -

I think it could be a nice addition to the official release. I know exporting could take a while, but most of us would be fine with that. :)

Well, I probably added a few more seconds to the process by exporting all the wavs as standard wavs so they can be
played in any wav player. Decompressing them does take more time, but I think the trade off is worth it -
