TC_Isle Beta 2?

Post by Nick3069 »

I was looking around in the download section to see if anything was new and I found "TresCom Ops - The Isle (Beta 2)" at the end of the list in the Level section. Apparently it was released a little more than a week ago. Is it new or was it just not put on the web site? If it's new, why was there no news about the new version? What changed about it?

I have downloaded it a couple of hours ago and I liked it. Of course, because it's my favourite Trespasser level :P
Anyway, I couldn't find many differences with the original, except the wooden bridge that leads to the tower. At first I got excited because I thought you were going to add the Ceratosaurus and the Pachycephalosaurus, but in the read-me it still reads "not available".

Anyway... Still the best level!

Something tells me the readme wasn't properly updated...

Doing a flythrough in TresEd it looks like the main focus was implementing the breakthroughs of ATX. It looks like there have been some changes though. Were those cloud objects there before? I don't think the part where the ocean meets the shore was there before either.

Weird, I replied to slugger, but my post doesn't show up. Was it deleted or was it a glitch?

So far, here are the only differences I've found:
- 2D cloud objects added
- a lot of added object in and around the lighthouse.
- darker sky

TC~River doesn't seem to have been updated. :(

Try looking for "BCera-00" or "CeratoR" in TresEd. ;)

Now that you mention it, the shore does look different...

Haven't seen it, first I though it might be partially invisible like Drac's post on that other thread, but no, not even that. Don't think anybody deleted it...

I tried, but TresEd in this old computer works too slow, and I ran out of patience waiting for it to download :P Anyway, could you give me the coordinates where I can find the Ceratosaurus?
Thanks a lot!

It must have glitched then.

Here are the coordinates:
1120, 190, 1
No problem.

Or you could...

Try the horn on the Venture and see it.

Whoah!! That was awesome!! Without a doubt, that Ceratosaurus was the most scary dinosaur that Trespasser has ever had!

Thanks, Nick!
And congratulations, guys, you did a great job!!
