Microsoft is using Linux

I believe it was just before (or after) the release of Windows 2000 Server that several hackers figured out that M$ was having a few UNIX webservers running the Win2K site. The news leaked to some of the bigger news sites around and strangly enough the servers where replaced later that week by M$-ones.
In interview Microsoft denied they used UNIX servers...of cource.
I think Microsoft still does have UNIX based servers, they probably don't think their own software is stable enough...

Never fooled with Free BSD Unix. I can't see any reason that it could serve my purposes better than Linux. It is interesting though, and one day, I might have a look at it.
