OK, guys, since tatu isn't around, I guess I'll post this instead of him, then.

This is the list of voiceovers Minnie Driver recorded for Anne and how they were intended to be used within the game:

Quote:
Part I: Scripted speech

Speech cued at specific points in the game, forming a rough progression that players follow as they explore the island.

Anne awakens on the beach, a quiet, peaceful lagoon with white sand, clear water, palm trees. She is safe here, and the player has an opportunity to stroll around and explore.

Anne001: Wakes up

Code:
Anne001a
Oh god.
(starts to get her bearings)
This can't be happening.
Anne001a
We hit the water like…
(suddenly, she remembers the pilot.  Calls out)
Anne001b
Marquez?
(again, more frightened)
Marquez!?
(no answer; quieter)
Anne001b
Where am I?

Anne002: A short while later, at the ocean
Code:
Anne002a
It is beautiful here.  Must be one of the offshore islands.  Cocos, one of the Cinco Muertes maybe.

Anne003: Close to concrete blocks

Code:
Something man-made used to be here.

Anne004: On top of a block
Code:
Anne004a
A foundation, maybe.

Anne005: Scared, but a little calmer.
(a scared sort of joke: she pretends to be making a mental note)
Code:
Anne005a
Dear Diary.
Plane has crashed on deserted island.  Will die a lonely death.
(signing off)
Well, gotta go,
Anne

Anne006: Anne sees InGen sign
Code:
Anne006a
InGen. Some kind of – wait.  International Genetic Technologies.

Anne007: Going over the facts for herself
Code:
Anne007a
That was the company from the Dinosaur Trial.  After the trial that old guy, John Hammond wrote a book.  He said it was somewhere in Central America...

Anne008: Putting it together
Code:
Anne008b
Oh no.  Oh god.
This is Site B.  This is John Hammond's lost world.

Anne009: Shortly after.
Code:
Anne009a

I knew all along this was a stupid idea.

Anne010:
Code:
Anne010b
There must have been something in the memoir.

HAMMOND
My name is John Parker Hammond. I was born on March 14, 1928.

Anne011:
Code:
Anne011a
Hammond.  Right.

HAMMOND
What follows is a record of certain events in which I took part, between the years 1980 and 1997, on an island I will call Site B.

Anne012:
Code:
Anne012b
Oh god… something like 30 people died here. Professional hunter types, mercenaries.

HAMMOND
Site B was not to be a theme park, but a research station. This was where we did the real work.

Anne013: Leaving the beach
(nervously)
Code:
Anne013b
Maybe…maybe if there's a phone line, or a radio…

Anne014: Passes "No Trespassing" sign,
Code:
Anne014a
(reads)

"No Trespassing."  Thanks.

Anne015: Entering the jungle
Code:
Anne015a
Oh god.  Someone's gotta come get me.

Anne016: On one of the platforms.
Code:
Anne016a.  [u]Note: was this sample cut off a bit early?[/u]
Welcome to the City of Tomorrow.

HAMMOND
I can picture them moving cautiously through the dusty rooms in bulky biohazard gear, clutching rifles, poring over our records, reading our files.

Anne017: At a sign reading, "Welcome to Site B"
(fascinated)
Code:
Anne017b
This was the place.  This used to be just an urban myth.

HAMMOND
The technology, the real trick of it, is still in there. In a darkened room, in an empty building with a dirty floor, it waits. The flashpoint, the origin of Jurassic park.

Anne018: Tries the gate out of station
Code:
Anne018b
Who do they think they're keeping out?

Anne019: Opens gate
Code:
Anne019b
I wonder what they left here.

HAMMOND
The mysterious John Hammond - shady investor, multimillionaire, jovial mad scientist.

Anne020:
Code:
Anne020a

Try "weird psycho old guy."

Anne021: As Hammond tells the story of Jurassic Park's founding
Code:
Anne021b
(with wonder; this is the place they were talking about)
I was a freshman when they had the first rumors.  We watched it on the TV news in the common room, drinking hot cocoa from the kitchen.  I said it would be nothing -- just another cold fusion.

Anne022: monorail tracks
Code:
Anne22b
This has to go somewhere…

Anne020: a bit further down, if reached within a certain timespan
Code:
Anne218a

This eventually has to go somewhere.

Anne022: Finds construction shack
Code:
Anne219b

(clears throat; calls out)
Hello?

Anne023: Anne breaks off the lock with a hammer

Code:
Anne023b

Yeah, yeah, bill me.

Anne024: In construction shack

Code:
Anne024a
No dinosaurs in here.
I guess this was just construction – the real facility could be miles away.

Anne025: If Anne breaks something

Code:
Anne025 damn it 3
Damn it!

Code:
2nd half of Anne025 b
Oh god…okay, calm down.

Anne026: Finds safety telephone

Code:
Anne026a
A phone.  Oh thank god.

Anne027: Hears recorded message:"The main switchboard is temporarily unattended. Please contact your supervisor."
(gives vent to panicked frustration for a second)
Code:
Anne027b
Shut up!

Anne028: If Anne clubs the phone from its mounting
Code:
Anne028a
(taking out her frustration)
Phone!  Die!

Anne029: Anne making her way into the jungle
Code:
Anne09a
(still tense, but starting to feel a little more comfortable here)
This is like hiking in the woods behind my house.  We used to pretend we were on a spy mission.

Anne030: Dinosaur tracks in a muddy patch of ground
Code:
Anne030c

Three toes.

Anne031: crashed jeep
Code:
Anne031a

Looks like it ran off the trail for some reason.

Anne032: standing on crashed jeep
Code:
Anne032b

What happened here?

Anne033: At Mayan face/wrecked jeep scene
Code:
Anne033b

Oh, my…

Anne034: Closer to Mayan face
Code:
Anne034b

You saw what happened, didn't you?

HAMMOND
A forest this wild, this unknown, has not been seen by any human since the great hunters of the early Pliocene.

Anne035: In the jungle, following Hammond line.
Code:
Anne035b

He's right.  This is what they must have faced.  Endless wilderness.  Total mystery.

Anne036: Early on, splashes into stream
Code:
Anne036b

Ah! This sucks!

Anne037: at posted map
Code:
Anne037a

…those dots in the north…

Anne038: Shortly after seeing the map
Code:
Anne038b

(uncertain; the sun is almost directly overhead)
Sun's in the west.  I think.  Which means that mountain I saw from the beach must be north.

AnneGetGun001: Picks up hunting rifle
Code:
AnneGetGun001b

Um, ready to rock.

(she weighs it in her hands, reconsiders)

Anne, you never even held a gun, except Dad's.  On a dare.

Anne039: In a hidden beach, she comes across a piece of her old plane
Code:
Anne039b
(looking for her pilot)
Hello?  Marquez?  Are you there?  Estas alli?

AnneGet001: Moves or picks up a piece of the plane
Code:
AnneGet001b
He was shouting when we went down, trying to level us out.

Anne040: Finds a cluster of orchids
Code:
Anne040a
(a nice surprise)
Orchids!

Anne041: Walking along the monorail
Code:
Anne041b
This isn't supposed to happen. This…I graduated summa.  This should be happening to a… policeman, or a ninja.

Anne042: first sight of dinosaur
Code:
Anne042a
(under her breath)
Oh man.  He really did it.

Anne043: Moving near herbivore for the first time
Code:
Anne043a

Just relax, I'm not going to hurt you.

Anne044: If dinos start to get alarmed
Code:
Anne044a
(trying nervously to soothe them)

Okay, shh, shh.  Sleepy dinosaur.

Anne045: Close to a triceratops
Code:
Anne045b
(nervously)
Tri-triceratops, right?
(a moment)
They don't know their names.

HAMMOND
A lost world is a sort of scientific myth. An evolutionary scenario in which an ecosystem is isolated and preserved. The rest of the world changes, leaving a tiny, fragile pocket where ancient species survive.

Anne046: After Hammond's "Lost World" speech
Code:
Anne046a

Yada yada yada…

HAMMOND
Velociraptor, a small theropod. Native to China and Mongolia. Pack-hunter, quite vicious, and quite intelligent.

Anne047: Sees the raptors
Code:
Anne047b
(fascinated, scared)

Velociraptors.  The killers.

Anne048: First dinosaur attack – Anne sees a single raptor approaching, and slowly realizes that it means to prey on her
Code:
Anne048b

Get away, shoo!

Anne049: First dinosaur attack – as it gets close – she is panicking, babbling a little
Code:
Anne049a

Oh, no. Oh god no.

AnneLightHit001: The first time Anne takes damage
Code:
AnneLightHit001a
(she is surprised, shocked – until this moment, she wasn't quite certain the danger was real)
Ow!

Anne050: Her first dinosaur attack – when she hits it, panic starts to become desperate rage and strength
Code:
Anne050g

Die!  Die!

AnneDinoKill001: Once it is fleeing or dead

Code:
AnneDinoKill001 a

(panting)  I'm fine.  I'm fine.  Oh god.

Code:
AnneDinoKill001 b
(an afterthought)
Who would have thought. (takes a breath) That I could do that.

Anne051: Sees dead guy
Code:
Anne051a

Oh, that's not good.  That's not good.  I'm not going to make it back from here, am I?

AnneGetGun002: Picks up revolver, first time
Code:
AnneGetGun002b

Heavier than I thought.

Anne052: Sees Tyrannosaur
Code:
Anne052a
(afraid, but in awe)
Oh no.  Nothing's that big.

Anne053: As it moves off
Code:
Anne053a

She's beautiful.

HAMMOND
3 Cray-XMP's moved more data, faster, than any computer center in the Americas.

Anne054: Following Hammond's boast
Code:
Anne054b

Nerd!

HAMMOND
The hunters landed on May 13, 1997, deep in the island's southwest. Most of them had worked at my African parks for years. They never stood a chance.

Anne055: Comes upon wrecked camp.
Code:
Anne055a

This is where they died.

Anne056: In the camp.
Code:
Anne056a

All those men.

Anne057: At video setup
Code:
Anne057b

Some kind of broadcast setup.  No use now.

Anne058: Picks up a soot-stained metal camping dish
Code:
Anne058a

Hammond never mentioned a fire.  I wonder how it started.

Anne059: picks up crushed laptop in hunter camp
Code:
Anne059b

Technical.  Must have had a cel modem.

Anne060: At monorail construction area
Code:
Anne060d

They certainly were serious about their monorail.

Anne061: As she moves or opens some container in the hunter camp, hunting for a communications device
A
Code:
nne061a

…a radio,  a phone.  A can with a string.

HAMMOND
November 1985. Test fertilization of an artificial ovum. My hands shook as I held the tiny eye dropper. One drop, two drops. There! The genie was out of the bottle.

Anne062: Hammond line, "November 1985. Test fertilization of an artificial ovum…"
Code:
Anne062a

I was in high school then.

AnneUseGun001: Fires pistol, first time
Code:
AnneUseGun001a

So that's what that feels like!

Anne063: Near a brachiosaur
Code:
Anne063a

Now that is an incredible smell.

Hammond line, "I began to have my first inkling of the seriousness of our work – how deep the well was. This was life from 65 or 100 million years before mankind."

Anne064:
Code:
Anne064b
(scared by this)
I've really done it.  This is not a normal situation.

Anne065: In the courtyard of the old Plantation House
Code:
Anne065a

Beautiful.  Spanish colonial.

Anne066: In old Plantation House

Code:
It's like the Learning Channel.

Anne067: Finds the bar of gold under a loose board
Code:
Anne067a

It's coffee gold.  Slaver gold.

Anne068: Hears falling timbers (prelude to the Albertosaur attack)
Code:
Both

What's that?

Anne069: Between Plantation House and beach
Code:
Anne069a

I can smell the ocean.

AnneGet003: Toy found on beach
Code:
AnneGet003a

Must have been that little girl's.

Anne070: HAMMOND says, "In 11 months, Site B became the most powerful genetics facility in the world."
Code:
Anne070a

Whatever.

Anne071: At a still pool in the jungle. A change of mood – a peaceful stretch of land has made her more thoughtful – she starts to recall the past month, how she ended up here. These are memory fragments.

Code:
Anne071a

I rode south along the coast.  Bus stations in the early morning; eating vending machine food in the fluorescent light.

Anne072: Making way through jungle
Code:
Anne072b
Stepping out of a bus in Mexico City, I shouldered my knapsack, felt the heat wash over me.

Anne073: Making way through jungle
Code:
Anne073b
It was good to be alone.  To be nobody for a while.

Anne074: In Swamp
Code:
Anne074a

At least it's good for my complexion.

Anne075: If wading in swamp
Code:
Anne075b

Now this is truly revolting.

Anne076: Slogging through the jungle
Code:
Anne076b

They're probably out drinking right now.  Anne?  Anne who?

Anne077: Crests the ridge, and sees the power lines extending down the valley
Code:
Anne077b

Power lines!  That's what I'm looking for.

Anne078: Moments later, descending the ridge
Code:
Anne078a

Showers. Coffee.  Air conditioning.  Almost there.

Anne079: Approaching helicopter
Code:
Anne079a

What brought that down?

Anne080: Climbs to the top of massive rock
Code:
Anne080a

(under her breath; a quiet challenge)
Come on, Anne!  You're up to this.

Anne081: Progressing through jungle
Code:
Anne081a

On the bright side: no more student loans!

Anne082: Nearing the town, at one of the pylons
Code:
Anne082b

These can't run more than a half mile more.

Anne083: Tries one of the town gates – it is locked
Code:
Anne083a

Don't do this to me.

Anne084: At gate to town wall, she tries the door's keypad
Code:
Anne084k
(hopeful – maybe there are still phones inside)

Security system.  Looks like that's still active.

Anne085: Approaches a building
Code:
Anne085a

Hello?  Hello!

Anne086: Entering town – at an impressive view
Code:
Anne086a

In the middle of a jungle…

Anne087: On a main street
Code:
Anne087b

It's like that Twilight Zone episode, where he's in this town with no people? And the guy's really an astronaut?

Anne088: In a building showing the patches on walls where appliances used to be
Code:
Anne088g
Looks like they stripped it before they took off.

Anne089: In one of the technicians' bungalows
Code:
Anne089a & “All gone home” from b

All gone home.

HAMMOND
I left home at 15, with the rather romantic idea of seeking my fortune. I remember the train ride south, in my best clothes, eating an apple. The entire world before me.

Anne090: In the park in the town square
Code:
Anne090b
The funny thing was how easy it was.  Nobody stops you.  Just get on a bus and watch the highway start moving.  The whole world before you.

I guess it's not a vacation if you don't know when you're coming back.

Anne091: In Town hall
Code:
Anne091a

Where is the goddamn phone?
I want out of here.  I want diet soda, I want copy machines, and juice boxes, and cartoons.

Anne092: Forces a lock
Code:
Anne092b

Cheap lock.

Anne093: Inside the cafe, looking at the bushes growing up through the cracked tile floor
Code:
Anne093b

Hm.  Surreal.

Anne094: Gets close to satellite dish, finds it broken
Code:
Anne094b

Something tells me this isn't my ticket out of here.

Anne095: Finds satellite dish map
Code:
Anne095a

This thing shows more than one transmitter.

Anne096: Saloon, at bar
Code:
Anne096b
Now would probably not be a good time for a drink, much as I might like one.

Anne097: Outside raptor-infested building
Code:
Anne097a
What's that smell?  Like a barn…

Anne098: Inside the raptor-infested town hall
Code:
Anne098a

(whispered.  Horror)
Oh god, it's a nest.

Anne099: Climbing a stairway, a step breaks
Code:
Anne099b

Excuse me?  Maintenance, hello?  A little help here?

Anne100: In workers' dormitory
Code:
Anne100b

Nothing here.  I bet you Hammond's the one who got all the fun satellite phones.

Anne101: At one of the power lines in the town
Code:
Anne101b
(thinking)
How did they get their electricity?  They must have had a generator.

Anne102: Reads graffiti in workers' dormitory bathroom
Code:
Anne102a
(reads)
"No!!  Morire por InGen"
Maybe you already have.

Anne103: Anne is trapped inside sports-equipment building, T. Rex is outside, looking in
Code:
Anne103a

(Scared out of her mind, but determined to be bold about it)

What?  You want a piece of me!?

(if Anne is carrying the golf club) (a warning tone)
Anne104:
Code:
Anne104a
I've got a golf club!

(or)
Anne105:
Code:
Anne105a
I've got a cricket bat!

(or)
Anne106:
Code:
Anne106a
I've got a croquet mallet!

Anne107: Dead Telephone in town
Code:
Anne107b

This place is dead.

Anne108: Tries the radio
Code:
Anne108b
Broken.
(a little stunned)
No radio. No phone.  No satellite.  That's it.  I'm dead. I'm like a skeleton, right now.

Anne109: Henry Wu's living-room multimedia center
Code:
Anne109b

Nice stereo, guy.

Anne110: When players reach the southern exit door from the town.
Code:
Anne110b

This thing needs a passcode – it must be written down somewhere.

Anne111: Entering Hammond's house
Code:
Anne111a
(impressed)
Very nice, John.

Anne112: Downstairs.
Code:
Anne112b

Living room, dining room, hardwood floors.  Lovely.

Anne113: In Kitchen, with missing ceiling
Code:
Anne113b

Modern kitchen, high ceilings.

Anne114: Enter bedroom
Code:
Anne114b

A guest bedroom, for visiting mad scientists.

Anne115: Enter Hammond's bedroom
Code:
Anne115a

Master bedroom. Very nice!

Anne116: Hammond House map room
Code:
Anne116b
(in disbelief – what a cliché!)
You've got to be kidding me.
(in comic movie-villain voice)
Welcome to my island.  No, don't try to escape.  Let me tell you my plan.

AnneGetGun003: Picks up Hammond's Silver Revolver
Code:
AnneGetFun003b

(sarcastic)
Ooh, ladies' model!

Anne117: Finds hidden compartment – a space in a while, behind a bookcase.
Code:
Anne117c
(Mock excitement)

Secret compartment!  Ooh, ahh!

Anne118: Finds computer disk in the secret compartment.
Code:
Anne118b

Ha.  This has got to be worth something.

Anne119: Enters Hammond's office
Code:
Anne119a

Now we're getting somewhere.

Anne120: Diary comes up on computer screen
Code:
Anne120c
(fascinated)
A diary.  This is really old.
(reads)
1951.

Anne121: Puts second disk in Hammond's computer
Code:
Anne121a

(reading)
Password…password…seven one oh five one.

Anne122: After the bridge has collapsed behind her
Code:
Anne122c

I was really hoping that wasn't going to happen.

Anne123: First sight of plains
Code:
Anne123b
(whistles, impressed)
…must be a mile across.  A 6.50 cab ride.

AnneGet004: Picks up door opener found in a car
Code:
AnneGet004d

It's like a garage door opener. Missing the battery, though.

HAMMOND
The battery would last at least 20 years and wear like iron.

Anne124: At the dam, after Hammond note about battery
Code:
Anne124a (drops ‘little’ on ‘c’)

They might have one in those radio collars.  Let's hope they used the same battery in all their little toys.

AnneUse001: Plains – tries non-working door opener
‘Ah’ from b, ‘No battery’ from a

Code:
Uh, no battery.

AnneUse002: If they try numerous times.
Code:
AnneUse002b

I'm really going to need to find a battery, here.

Anne125: At the dam, if she has the door opener
Code:
Anne125b (noise on a)

(reads)
"Remotely operated."  That explains this thing.  So I just need a battery.

Anne126: At the dam, if she does not have door opener
Code:
Anne126b

(reads)
"Remotely operated."  I need some kind of signalling device.

Anne127: Out on the plains
Code:
Anne127b

Not much cover.  Have to use the trees.

Anne128: Out on the plains, following a dirt road
Code:
Anne128b

Dear Diary,

Hunting dinosaurs on strange island.  Little chance of escape…um…weather fine.

Well, more news later.

Anne

Anne129: After seeing the second raptor tribe, she thinks aloud for a while.
Code:
Anne129b

That black crest -- some kind of species variant.  DNA from a different period, or another continent.

AnneUse003: "Uses" the scary toy clown
Code:
AnneUse003b

Yay!  Scary toy clown!

AnneDinoShoot001: On plains, shooting at dinosaur
Code:
AnneDinoShoot001a

I can do this.

Anne130: After a few dino kills without finding a battery (if she has heard the setup for the battery quest)
Code:
Anne130a

No collars.  I need one of the old ones.  One of the ones Hammond made.

Anne131: At cliff above the ocean
Code:
Anne131b

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Pacific…

Anne132: By a dead smuggler.
Code:
Anne132b

Don't just lie there -- get help!

Anne133: In blockhouse
Code:
Anne133a

Cool in here.
(looking around)
Some kind of storage?

Anne134: Close to a big triceratops
Code:
Anne134a

They're just cows.  Just big cows.

Anne135: Proximity alarm goes off – several dinosaurs are visible
Code:
Anne135b

Must be the big one.

Anne136: hears the T. Rex
Code:
Anne136b (bad read on ‘a’)

God, she's big.

Anne137: If T. Rex spots her
Code:
Anne137b
She's on to me.

Anne138: T. Rex gets near
Code:
Anne138b
(quietly, a challenge)
Come on!

Anne139: Third hit on T. Tex
Code:
Anne139a (drop the breathe)
(muttered)
Finish it, Anne.

Anne140: 4th hit on T. Rex
Code:
Anne140a
Fall, damn you!

Anne141: 6th hit
Code:
Anne141a

Come on, fall!

AnneDinoKill002: To dying T. Rex
Code:
AnneDinoKill002d
(she is hysterical, nearly crying, as the huge, deadly thing thrashes in its death-agony)
Die! You bastard!

Anne142: Finds Harry Greenwood's body
Code:
Anne142c (‘a’ has noise)
Oh god.

Anne143: Reads tag on Harry Greenwood's clothes.
Code:
Anne143 (has the least noise of the three)

(reads)
Greenwood, Harold, USMC.
(lower)
Looks like it came from a novelty shop.

HAMMOND
I first met Harold Greenwood in 1992. He was an American, introduced to me as a former Green Beret. He asked a number of questions about the disposition of the InGen Technology.

HAMMOND
Harry claimed to be a friend of my former son-in-law. I liked him — he was confident, dashing.

Anne144: After finding Greenwood's body
Code:
Anne144a
He must have been scared.  He was wounded, he crawled in here, maybe losing blood.  I guess he thought he was safe.

Hammond line, "As we left we vandalized our own locking mechanisms. InGen tolerates no trespassers."

Anne145:
Code:
Anne145b
Not until now.

HAMMOND
When I was little I dreamed of a time when the entire world was covered by an ancient first-growth forest. Great hunters stalked in the cool darkness, among silent, huge columnar trees - oaks, and sequoias.

Anne146: Sunny, beautiful pine forest
Code:
Anne146b

A forest like this, you could just walk forever.  And never come back.

Anne147: Dead hunter
Code:
Anne147b

(ironically)  The great white hunter.

Anne148: Entering the pine valley, she rejoins the power lines
Code:
Anne148b

These must run back to the town on one end.

Anne149: Sees dead guy
Code:
Anne149b (‘a’ has noise)

Great, another dead guy.

Anne150: Steps on a stone in the pre-Columbian village. A brief grating of stone on stone, then nothing.
Code:
Anne150a

Must be out of darts.

HAMMOND
And right then it opened up. The code read true. The barrier of time was, for an instant, opened. Nedry and I stared into the monitor, straight back through 65 thousand centuries.

And here's more:

Quote:
Part II: Appendix – Dynamically played speech and sounds

Some of Anne's speech isn't assigned to a precise point in the game. Instead, they are cued off of events as they happen – if Anne falls, or shoots a dinosaurs, etc. these will give Anne a more human feel, a sense that she is alive and responds to events.

Idle Sounds

When the player ceases to give any inputs to Anne, after a while she will begin wondering what's going on.

Code:
AnneIdle001, 002, 003: (Anne sings to herself, quietly – no words, just "dah, dah," or humming, e.g. "Amazing Grace." Three versions)
Possibly Both (‘a’ is much better)

AnneIdle004:
Neither
 (sighs, pointedly)

AnneIdle005:
AnneIdle005a
Getting a little bored, here.

AnneIdle006:  (sits down; tartly; resolved)
AnneIdle006b
Fine.  I can wait as long as you can.

Bullet Counts

Picking up any gun, she reads out the how many bullets there are in it – for variety, we need several versions of each number.

For single-shot weapons

Code:
AnneAmmoPhrase001:
Empty.
AnneAmmoPhrase002:
All out.
AnneAmmoPhrase003:
One shot.
AnneAmmoPhrase004:
One shot left.
AnneAmmoPhrase005:
Two shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase006:
Only two left.
AnneAmmoPhrase007:
Three left.
AnneAmmoPhrase008:
Three shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase009:
Four bullets.
AnneAmmoPhrase010:
Four shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase011:
Five rounds left.
AnneAmmoPhrase012:
Five shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase013:
Six left.
AnneAmmoPhrase014:
Six rounds.
AnneAmmoPhrase015:
Looks like seven.
AnneAmmoPhrase016:
Seven shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase018:
Eight shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase019:
Eight left.
AnneAmmoPhrase020:
It's…nine.
AnneAmmoPhrase021:
Nine shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase022:
Around ten.
AnneAmmoPhrase023:
Ten shots.
AnneAmmoPhrase024:
Looks like twelve.
AnneAmmoPhrase025:
About a dozen.
AnneAmmoPhrase026:
Fifteen or so.
AnneAmmoPhrase027:
About fifteen.
AnneAmmoPhrase028:
About twenty.
AnneAmmoPhrase029:
Looks like twenty.
AnneAmmoPhrase030:
About thirty.
AnneAmmoPhrase031:
About thirty rounds.

For Automatic and Semi-automatic Weapons:

Code:
AnneAmmoAuto001:
Almost out.
AnneAmmoAuto002:
Almost gone.
AnneAmmoAuto003:
Nearly empty.
AnneAmmoAuto004:
About half a clip.
AnneAmmoAuto005:
It's half gone.
AnneAmmoAuto006:
Feels about half.
AnneAmmoAuto007:
Full clip.
AnneAmmoAuto008:
Hasn't been used.
AnneAmmoAuto009:
Feels full.
AnneAmmoAuto010:
It's fully loaded.

Ammo count numerals. As Anne empties a clip, at certain intervals (20, 15, 5) she will quickly state the number of bullets remaining, so for variety we need at least three readings of each numeral. These need a quick, tense, matter-of-fact delivery.
She will be (slightly) more stressed when she is down to her last few shots.

Code:
AnneAmmoNumeral011, 012, 013:    One.
AnneAmmoNumeral021, 022, 023:    Two.
AnneAmmoNumeral031, 032, 033:    Three.
AnneAmmoNumeral041, 042, 043:    Four.
AnneAmmoNumeral051, 052, 053:    Five.
AnneAmmoNumeral061, 062, 063:    Six.
AnneAmmoNumeral071, 072, 073:    Seven.
AnneAmmoNumeral081, 082, 083:    Eight.
AnneAmmoNumeral091, 092, 093:    Nine.
AnneAmmoNumeral101, 102, 103:    Ten.
AnneAmmoNumeral121, 122, 123:    Twelve.
AnneAmmoNumeral131, 132, 133:    Thirteen.
AnneAmmoNumeral151, 152, 153:    Fifteen.
AnneAmmoNumeral171, 172, 173:    Seventeen.
AnneAmmoNumeral201, 202, 203:    Twenty.
AnneAmmoNumeral301, 302, 303:    Thirty.

AnneFall04:
AnneFall05:
AnneFall06:(for after the grunt, sardonic)  Nice one.

Combat noises/comments

We want our combats to seem real: scary, intense, and violent. Most of the noise is nonverbal – Anne reacting to pain, Anne psyching herself up to be brave, and Anne shouting in triumph, and when she does speak, she is usually very serious.

Pain noises: Hit or bitten by dinosaur, or struck by moving object –
grunt or gasp of pain. We will need a lot of these to avoid sounding repetitive. Anne can take a hit silently, but it will be good to have her making noise, if only for player feedback.

These are very physical noises, almost forced out her – you should be able to hear the hit in it.

We will probably just need to improvise in-studio to get this right.
The explanations below are some ideas to work from – we'll try a couple of versions of each.

Light hits

Light cut to limb – think of a raptor slashing a leg or arm, deep enough to draw blood, but not life-threatening -- a sudden sharp pain.

Code:
AnneLightHit001:  (A gasp of pain)
Ah!
AnneLightHit002: (That sudden inhalation people do when in pain.)
AnneLightHit003:
Ow!
AnneLightHit004:  (A kind of growl – in pain, so adrenaline-pumped that it's just making her mad.)

AnneLightHit005: (Pure surprise.  Suddenly this thing's got its claw on her.)
Hup!

Glancing blow to body or limb – struck by a swinging tail, or body-checked. Hard enough to hurt, like a punch, but not deadly.

Code:
AnneLightHit006:  (A plain grunt of impact)
Uh!
AnneLightHit007: (trying to shake the hurt off)
Huh!
AnneLightHit008: (Being knocked suddenly off balance – like being hit on the back of the knees.)
Wup!
AnneLightHit009: (Being knocked heavily backwards.)
Oof!

Later, as she gets more confident, she adds more verbal responses

Code:
AnneLightHit010: (Said in surprise and pain.)
Damnit!
AnneLightHit011: (More composed)
Faster than I thought.
AnneLightHit012:  (Goading herself)
Come on, rich girl, get it together.

Electrical shock:

Reacting to the surprise, the sudden funny-bone feeling.

Code:
AnneLightHit021:
Ah!
AnneLightHit022:
Ah! Damn it.
AnneLightHit023:
Ouch! Yuk.

Heavy hits

A really bad slash to an arm or leg – really opens her up, blood flows, a gasp, a feeling of shock.

Code:
AnneHeavyHit001:   (hurts a lot, but trying not to make any noise)
Nn!
AnneHeavyHit002: More surprise, shock, then pain
Oh!
AnneHeavyHit003: A short, fierce scream.
Aaahh!
AnneHeavyHit004: Scared – she is seeing her own blood here.
Omigod.
AnneHeavyHit005:  Something between a growl and a scream – she is really scared, but determined not to lose it.
AnneHeavyHit006: Pure rage.
Aaaah!!

A very solid hit to the body, possibly knocks her down.

Different versions of "huh!" basically. The breath is being driven out of her by the hit. Try different vocalizations.
Code:
AnneHeavyHit007
AnneHeavyHit008
AnneHeavyHit009
AnneHeavyHit010:

Comments for when Anne first finds and uses various guns. They reflect her initial discomfort and eventual familiarity with firearms.

Code:
AnneUseGun002: First time she fires a shotgun, she is nearly knocked down by the recoil
(As if punched in the stomach)
It works!

AnneUseGun003: Firing a pistol, still later.
AnneUseGun003a
Keep it steady.

AnneUseGun004: Firing an automatic.

(A kind of manic growl, over the roar)

AnneUseGun005: Firing an automatic.
Short, controlled- whatever.

AnneUseGun006:
(on emptying an automatic pistol; pleased)
I didn't know they made automatics this small!

AnneUseGun007:  Fires expensive hunting rifle
(satisfied)
"Spared no expense."

AnneUseGun008: Surprised laughter – this is fun!

AnneGetGun004:  Picks up sub-machine gun or assault rifle
Are these even legal?

AnneGetGun005: Picks up a .50 BMG
(laughing)
Oh my god!

AnneGetGun006:   Gets a big gun
(laughing)
Oh, this is good.  This is very good.

Hand-to-hand

Grunts, swinging weapon hard – try at least 6. Think, perhaps, of what professional tennis players sound like.

A Dinosaur Flees:

Code:
AnneDinoFlee001:
(as shooing away a dog)
Go! Get away!

AnneDinoFlee002:
(relieved)
Scared it off.

AnneDinoFlee003:
Gone.

AnneDinoFlee004:
Oh, thank god.

Kills a dinosaur

Anne at first can barely handle the intensity of the fight, let alone the actual killing itself. She is adrenaline-overdosed, exhausted.

Code:
AnneDinoKill006: (early dino kill)
AnneDinoKill006a
I don't believe this.

AnneDinoKill007: (early dino kill; if there are no other dinosaurs around)
AnneDinoKill007a
I got it, I got it.  I'm safe.

AnneDinoKill008: (triumphant)
AnneDinoKill008a
Ha!

Dino-killing jokes

Eventually, Anne becomes calm enough about the killing to really enjoy the thrill. Each of these will only be used once each in the game. These should all still be underplayed, muttered to herself, not taken directly to the audience.

Code:
AnneDinoKill009:  Kills Raptor
AnneDinoKill009b
Going down for a little dirt nap!

AnneDinoKill010:
AnneDinoKill010a
One less threat to the American way of life.

AnneDinoKill011: (exhausted, breathless)
AnneDinoKill011c
Dinosaur park.  What a great idea.

Gunfire

If a dinosaur is far enough away and completely disabled by a gunshot, and if there are no other dinosaurs present, Anne may pause, satisfied, to observe the effects of her handiwork.

Code:
AnneDinoShoot001: First gunshot hit on a dinosaur
(quietly)
Whoah!
AnneDinoShoot002: (an exhalation)
AnneDinoShoot002a
Whew!
AnneDinoShoot003: (for leg shot) (satisfied)
AnneDinoShoot003a
Crippled him.

AnneDinoShoot004:
AnneDinoShoot004b
(if she shoots a dino in head; matter of fact)
Head shot.

Swimming

Since we don't Anne to go in water over her head, she'll be unable to – either she'll be pushed back by a strong current, or be snatched underwater by an unseen ichthyosaur or plesiosaur. In any case, before that she'll give a series of warnings about the inadvisability of going swimming.

Code:
AnneSwim001:  Wading in water
AnneSwim001b
(surprised)
It's warm.

AnneSwim002: Anne walks in ocean, up to thighs
AnneSwim002b
I don't think I feel like swimming.

AnneSwim003: Walking in ocean, up to waist
AnneSwim003a
Okay, I really don't feel like swimming

AnneSwim004: If player remains in ocean
AnneSwim004b

It's not like I can swim to America.

AnneSwim005: When we decide she has gone too far, just before she is yanked under by an ichthyosaur (if we do this)

(worried – there is a dark, moving shadow beneath the water)
Something's moving.

AnneSwim006: Or if we have an undertow instead

The current's just too strong.
