Absolutely! That seems to be the purpose of the giant Mayan head. Unfortunately it often gets stuck on the steps on its way down due to the way physics work in Trespasser (as there cannot be true "round" objects), but I have managed it several times in the past.

That spinosaur looks pretty good, very accurate-looking texture, definitely closer to the film than the JPOG version. The only thing I'd suggest adding is the little bumps on the spine in order to make it look a bit less boxy. JPOG did this with transparent textures.

Will give these a read as soon as a get a chance! The idea of a lab dedicated to the study of insects makes a lot of sense - it's a wonder InGen didn't try cloning something like that before the dinosaurs.

I do still wish the GUIApp lighting options dream had come about. We have the source code for GUIApp right? I suppose it's always possible some day someone will figure out how to implement it.
