There is a texture associated with the water. You can see this as a .bmp file when you export a water object to .tpm. This texture does not seem to be applied as simply as those for other objects. Rather, it appears to be used as some kind of "seed." You can significantly change the color...

I think your water problem might be related to your graphics card. I have expierenced that too levels. The edges are like cloudly, and in some rare cases, the yellow like you got. Perhaps there is a way to texture water? Nope you can't texture water, at least not and make anything different; for in...

K well I have a new update on Tasha's full-body mesh. Been working on it a lot lately and have gotten pretty far, though I only just started working on her clothes (having more or less finished her body) so bear with me :D (NOTE: some renders though patterns of smoothed triangles only may not be soo...

None of these are actually in the update and most/all of them are more up-to-date by now anyway. :P First off, the swamp!!! Thes...

There is a quake logo in one of the level's basements. It can be used as a weapon, and is extremely powerful :)

*Update: Ok. I figured it out, or at least away around it through the values text. I guess the DW guys decided that if the model needed multiple meterial types, they make the model itself non-solid the apply invisible instances in the rough shape of the object with the different meterial values. It...

*sigh* OK I'll go through exporting set-by-step so you can't miss anything. First you need to determine if the object you are exporting uses Instances or $ubobjects for its physics. (Remember you can't make an object "tangible" and expect the mesh's exact form to be translated in a game.) ...

Lemme clear up a few things I've heard above. 1) I don't recommend using export full object as .3ds, tends to cause problems in my experience. Use export as .tpm for single objects, or export as .3ds as long as there are no subobjects. 2) The objects found in the basement don't follow any strict rul...

A little note, I highly dis-recommend using the swp export program, unless you don't care about the names of the textures, because they will be renamed. Also I'm not sure if Mike did something wrong or not but when he used the program, it exported like 3 diff sizes (at least) of each texture for som...

Hey wow that was cool!! I got into the .tpm file and did it your way, the tpm format is way simpler than I thought it would be!  God I love this stuff.... (hmmm this reminds me, the pure-black texture setting can't be created in .3ds files, if I figure out what part of the tpm file is...
