Re: Remaking Trespasser (Released) / Jp:Aftermath
Anyway, it really feels like this post was made to say "look how much better my VC is than the one in Jurassic Dream" Sounds harsh, but that is my impression, too. And I would totally have done the same, if only to make the other modder complete my own vision, like a parent demanding thei...

Re: Old fan levels that got lost. Backups anyone?
Hey guys. I've just been uploading several levels to TresCom, check out the "levels" section. http://www.trescom.org/levels/ I like the blackness of jetblack's level screenshot. :P Thanks for the uploads. Now they can't get lost on some dusty old hard drives and be found by some passer-by...

Re: Trespasser E3 Industrial Jungle Video
I wish they didn't remove the bite animation, the roaring and the nice physics impulse when a raptor is hit by a bullet. It looks much more convincing!

Re: Mac-computer doesn't save progress
If you want to avoid adware and use open source programs, I can recommend "Wine", which is sort of a translator Windows <-> OS X/BSD/Linux. It runs Trespasser in software mode just fine. For hardware mode you would need the recent Trespasser CE patch. Info on Wine for OS X: https://wiki.wi...

Re: Creating Intelligent Creatures
I guess so. Trespasser's environment is complex though, and true intelligence would be extremely expensive I think. There is also lots of fuzzy stuff, like exploits or the interface to type on number pads. :p Super Mario on the other hand ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfL4L_l4U9A

Re: Left-handed players....
I can use my left hand fine and I could improve it if I did thing like using a mouse or brushing my teeth with that hand but using it with a compute is impossible because you would want the distance from wasd to the mouse the same distance but that would mean having it go far out with not enough sp...

Your rating is based on the game WITHOUT the ruins? Can't do that! :p
Well, remember that hoax about supposedly Mayan/alien crystal skulls? There is one not far from a little tool shed and it will talk to you. Listen closely...

Re: All New Trespasser Fan Levels
The funny thing is that in two play-throughs I could not find what the Mayan spirits demanded to grant me passage into their lands of ancient temples and secret caverns. Eventually I looked it up in TresEd to find it is very early in the game and was surprised by how much I missed out on. It's the f...

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
Not in the version I'm using - anyone know how to check the version number? Invul and Tele are both working fine, as are Fly and Woo. If all else fails check the file date and size. But typically programmers on the Windows platform encode the version information in the executable. Right-click, &quo...

Re: Left-handed players....
Oh don't remind me of fountain pens. Ha! I was often more scratching than writing and in retrospect I wish Latin script was left-to-right. I put blotting-paper under my hand to stop the ink smearing as I approached the end of the line. But this is a dinosaur themed forum, so here is a little story: ...

Re: Trespasser with ReShade...it WORKS!
That Dimetrodon totally looks like a "dinosaur and a barrel" projected onto the terrain, thx for sharing this illustration, because pictures say more than 1000 words.
