Re: Fun Facts and Trivia about Trespasser

I guess a tree could've grown and destroyed the floor and roof and the raptors made a nest around the tree root.

Re: Fun Facts and Trivia about Trespasser

Does this count as trivia? The hole in the floor of the Church/Town Hall was originally for a raptor nest. Anne replied by saying "What's that smell? Like a barn..." and "Oh god it's a nest." Your comments on ammunition for machine guns, I had not noticed, and am not inclined to...

Re: Zeno's Fan Build 119 (The Voiceline and Pine Valley Redux!)

As we've kinda agreed on Discord, we are very similar how we think and want to do stuff. Doing behind-the-scene stuff like how stuff only looks in TresEd is something I would do as well, even when it has no gameplay effect! :D

Re: Cheats using Ctrl + F11 not working

Welcome to TresCom! Is there a specific reason you are using the ATX patch over the CE patch? Sadly there is no way to change the shortcut for the cheats, but I do recall it being very inconsistent. I remember that sometimes I had to press CTRL+F11 a few times in order for it to actually show up, an...

Re: Pine Valley but Fixed!

That usually does it. I do the same thing usually, as the other option is to export everything and import it into fresh files! Shell Generator is THE tool to create level files from scratch: https://www.trescom.org/download/shell-level-generator-v006/ It is also the only way really to create empty S...

Re: Fun Facts and Trivia about Trespasser

Well, discovered more fun stuff about Pine Valley. There's another two raptors hidden in a place you cannot really go to, plus a hidden trike up there too lmao. That sounds like the area that is flatter in earlier builds. But I do know 1-2 of the raptors ends up high on a hill even in the early ter...

Re: Benelli has 'degenerate Polygon'?

Yeah. I know for example that the TC levels contains lots of these "errors" and runs fine. For the Isla Sorna mod, I've fixed most of them, but that is just for myself to reduce the errors/warning as I want them to be "perfect" and that I believe maybe it optimize the level a tin...

Re: Pine Valley but Fixed!

I think the texture file is all messed up as the error message says. "CRITICAL ASSERTION FAILED!" Map\PV\PMac10w01t2.bmp source\lib\Loader\LoadTexture.cpp Line #242 That is a SWP issue. Animated textures will give this issue, but this is the MAC-10. Just reimport it and replace textures t...

Re: Benelli has 'degenerate Polygon'?

I know what it is, and how to fix it. But not sure I can explain it in English. I know about the issue thanks to Sketchup (which doesn't work in triangles). Here is a picture what it would be in Sketchup at least: degeneratePolygon.png Bottom one is "correct" and above one is kinda badly o...

Re: Pine Valley but Fixed!

I doubt the GRF is corrupted, that rarely happens. Does it load fine in TresEd? And does it load in-game? Those errors and warning messages are fine (most levels will have them). They do not cause the Out Of Memory issue. What trespasser.ini are you using? Try increasing the settings under "[Me...

Re: Zeno's Vanilla Trespasser Patch/Rework

This reminds me, as you have asked where various voiceover went, I'd recommend to download the official design documents: https://www.trescom.org/download/original-design-documents/ Anne's voiceovers follows the game, mostly in order (there are some that may fit elsewhere due to change in level desi...

Re: RaptorCBoss is a little 'special', any ideas how to fix?

There are 9 script-values related to the Pathfinding script, which is what I believe TI is talking about: float SenseTerrain unknown Maximum distance at which AI will sense the terrain around for pathfinding calculations. float SenseObjects unknown Maximum distance at which AI will sense objects aro...
