Re: The Beach level exported into Unreal 4

Looks good, just like an upgraded Trespasser engine with the original assets. I might release a few HD models that you could use sometime to replace, probably just the barrels, crates and fencing and blocks of foundation. They currently all set-up for Cryengine, but might see if can transfer into Un...

Re: Point me to a beginners guide to making new tres models

Definetly go for gmax, its a few limitations, but probably won't ever face them. Think it was certain modifiers and tools that make some things easier.

Could probably write up a quick guide on some use like materials, poly editing and exporting it.

Re: Anyone have ideas for custom levels?

How about a Five Night at Freddies style level? Was going to try myself, but enough trouble with re-learning another engine. Basic plan was, you're on night shift to look after the radio mast during a storm. You have a small building with the essentials and a monitoring station. The generator, a yar...

Rescaling Annes 'foot', sped or slowed down the movement I remember, or it did something :P

Is that mirror in the downstairs bathroom and the fusebox in the small boiler room new?

Then we could all shout at the end:

That would be neat to see. With raptors around your feet it could be quite an end to the game. As long as they would not fall off the edge. :P

Re: IJ - Research

A lot of the shots appear to be based on having a more swamp landscape, before the cavern became part of the level, removing the swamp and lake, if the lake itself existed, going by the walkthrough, the cavern replaced the lake idea.

Re: TO - Research

I wonder when they decided against the the school and the fields behind it. Having those areas would actually be quite interesting, could fit into the area to the East, taking out or moving the area of construction and extending the road coverage, if it were to be put in. Maybe the puzzle involving ...

Re: Tres: Reloaded - SUM

Did a rough map for summit, something that incorporates both the original walkthrough and the latest versions. Long time off till it could see development, but just had some ideas on the Summit. http://i48.tinypic.com/2duh76g.jpg The flow of gameplay, could start from the lift, a puzzle in ascent co...

Re: Update, October 2012

Should we post in the original threads or new ones be started for each level?
Just think if the first post of thread contained a summary of ideas and plans, so its easier to know whats happening, and discuss.

Re: Update, October 2012

Less guns, or more logical gun positions would be ideal, kind of what took Trespasser to a survival game to a easy FPS with all the weapons being found every dozen or so metres. Could always have small random weapon caches near hunter activity, a static crate with one or two weapons, sealed from the...

Re: Update, October 2012

If it does go ahead, although we could just plan it for the moment, experiment with anything, will the previous threads and information/ideas be unused? Maybe each level could have its own thread again, and decisions and ideas pushed to the first post. Keep things organised and know what will go int...

Re: The Mayan Tunnels

I would love to see another huge mod like JPDS at some point. Maybe not that big, but maybe that someone would continue to work on a Trespasser remake based on the scripts and walkthrough in Trespasser's engine. I'm in for that if anyone else wants to at some point. I think we've got a lot of infor...

Re: The Top-Secret, Scary Level

I think I know what it is, the 'he is always watching' got me. :)
If I'm right, lots of development going on with that in other places, so be interesting to see it in Tres.
