OMG, I always wanted a high res picture of Anne.
I always envisioned with short hair, though not AS short. She does look like Lara.

Re: Research: identifying the InGen hunters
What I find interesting is how they go from almost non skeletons in the beta, to several in the retail. I don't have the images with me now, but what's interesting is: The missing body, of Maharaja, if you move the expolice body, to the exacly same position where Maharaja should be (where you see i...

Re: Anyone work with the Source engine?
Just an example on CryEngine2 doing not-run-and-gun.

Anwyway, some one in the forums WAS making a Sorna/Cocos map in CryEngine2 some time ago. But I forgot who.

Re: Anyone work with the Source engine?
What's dynamic in trespasser that can't be done in the cryengine, or any other suitable engine? For one, Anne's Arm. Next is the physical interaction the AI and Player has with all other instances in the game world. When you play a trespasser level you drop into a vast expanse of terrain, something...

Re: Anyone work with the Source engine?
However, Crysis does have all that. Someone with the right tools could make new interactive objects out of trespasser meshes. CryTek cant do what Trespasser does and was supposed to do. It has destructable, dynamic environments, but it does not have truly dynamic environments. Trespasser is one of ...

Re: Heavily updated Easter Eggs / 'Did you know?' section
Reading about all the misplaced voiceovers, I'm wonderingn, how hard would it be for the comunity to release fixed levels?
Most of the stuff in that site should be added to the game propperly.

Re: Jurassic Park Game
Jesus that was long. Sorry for the double post, didn't want to make that longer. I made some google research on Chris Doucette (a.k.a DIFTOW), and I found something both pathetic and funny. Before the JP game became his white whale, he was decided that the future of the Stargate frachise could only ...

Re: Jurassic Park Game
The whole history about the game is pathetic. It started on Source (as that was what Chris, former leader, knew to work with). It was too restricting. So they moved to CryEngine2. Work continued, slow as it was since the start. Then the wole probelm with Trespassing occured. I remember he once claim...

Re: Crazy Trespasser stories to share anyone?
I don't remember much of those crazy stories I lived (its been a while), except for one. I was at the harbor, in one of the warehouses. And the brown/orange Rex was outside, I had no ammo, and I just wanted to get out of there and get back to safety (I had cleansed the entrance area of raptors). Any...

Re: EastDock ~ Released, pg. 3
I'm sorry to revive this thread, but I thought my problem wasn't worth of its own thread. I've downloaded ED, but the additive TPA's are damaged, so I can't run the level properly. I downloaded it with a d. manager and I was wondering that might be the source of the problem? Anyone has experienced t...

I remember I read somewhere that in the demo, objects and dinosaurs (possibly anne too) are bigger that in the retail game. And that its one of the reasons the demo is more stable and less glitchy. If you can resize Anne without problem, you cold try to give the compy its minimum stable size (1.4 wa...

Just some info you might want to know. ATX handles jumping behavior by looking if a dinosaur has actBite=True in its scripts. Because of this, any dinosaur can jump. But because people felt that quadrupeds jumping was a bad idea, BigRed modified the properties so that the jumping behavior doesn't in...

My view is that Anne's life before Trespasser was somewhat boring and depressing. Which is the reason she went on vacation, to experience life, to have an adventure, trying to put the negative aspects of her past behind. And while Site B was a rather terrible experience, she found a new life after s...
