CfsHack source code

Hi, Someone asked me lately about CfsHack that I wrote many years ago. Since I have no time to work or even look at this, I've uploaded the full source code (VB6): http://home.planet.nl/~buijs512/_temp/cisland_hack.zip No licence included, that means you can do what you want with it. Cheers, ol' Rem...

Re: Questions from a new member

Sure, send a mail, and we'll answer it. I'm sure Rebel and the others don't mind, though we still haven't been able to contact Andres (he provided vital tools and insights on both projects)...

I think so. But does windows 2000 have compatibility modes tab anyway? I haven't used win2k for a long time. Trespasser won't even install. When I try to run setup95.exe says errors making error log file and quits. Can't find that error log file even using Event viewer. Any indication what path it i...

Since Tres was written for Windows 95 and only tested in that version, there may always be some compatibility issues, that may not appear to make sense. There are a lot of underlying differences between win95 and NT (2000, XP). I *think* that you can't set the compatibility mode for executables that...

Could be a cookie problem. Try deleting the cookie (either manually or through the browser). Do you have an account there? If so, log out, log in again and try again. If you're on Comcast, they may be blocking YOUR traffic to certain downloads hosting sites. This is illegal, but they still do it. EF...

The blood must have come from a dino when you killed it. AFAIK there's no blood splatter in the game until you enable gore and actually kill a dino.

The head was only in the test level, and I'm pretty sure it was based on a photograph of one of the developers.

Well, it depends on who has the rights to the source code, the developers or the publishers... Well DWI was the developer. Which became the EA LA studio. EA was always the publisher. So I'm pretty sure the rights are completely in hands of EA, unless Universal had a share in it, but I think EA boug...

Well, even if they had the source, they can't just give it away. You have to realize they all signed a Non Disclosure Agreement, perhaps much more legal papers. They would almost certainly break the law by leaking it, risking prosecution.

How difficult was it to design and build the advanced physics engine? Since Trespasser was pioneering in this area (as far as games concerned), where did the knowledge come from, from the high-end simulation/engineering field, games industry or just well-educated programmers? Who worked on the physi...

Oh yea, the next version of TPDC (as announced on the news) has been a little delayed as my comp is offline. I don't have access to the updated source code atm, but once I do I will apply some smaller fixes I've made since and release the updates source and binary.

How would you surf exactly? It is easy. Load up the beach level. Turn around, grab the floating door and put it in a good position. Jump on it, crouch, then grab the door so it won't slide from underneath your feet. You'll bob up and down with the door and occasionally Anne will let go, but you can...
