Re: Drac~Test

Does the light shaft in the test-scene use a default alpha channel or a custom one? I like TheIdiot's suggestion for their possible use as glass.

Re: Reflections About Early "Pond" Images

Given the trees and the raptors, it may have been some corner in PV. It's not so different from this one: https://www.trescom.org/wp-content/uploads/catablog/originals/shot004.jpg Regarding this image, what's going on with the raptor on the far left's mouth? I don't know how many times I've looked ...

Re: screenshot of a level im working on

I've been playing around with the editor and realized deleting meshes causes levels to not load so I've just been moving ones that are in the way. As you discovered, Tres generally does not like it if you delete a master mesh. A master mesh can identified by its name either ending with "-00&qu...

Hey dude, these are gorgeous, especially the interior shots with the lighting effects! Great work! That's one thing I wish Tres had: a more robust lighting system that would permit point sources.

Re: Trespasser Development History

From what I remember the first subsystem to come online were the dinosaur animations, because Seamus
had already been working on a bipedal physics-driven model before the development of Tres started.

That's a neat idea! If you're going to handle it, don't forget to spray some clear coat over it.

Re: Chaotician Drac - Digital Sets in Tres

That's actually rather creepy looking...I'm sensing a spooky Halloween-themed level with that as the player mesh. ;)

Looks like you're churning right along! Any plans to release all these models, at some point?

Re: Chaotician Drac - Digital Sets in Tres

I would think that the bare minimum amount of RAM any more is 8 GB; probably double that, at least, for something heavy like video editing (plus a decent graphics card).

Looking very moody!

Re: Pine Valley again...

Is the blue object in the upper right of the first image supposed to be the dam model then? And the wavy blue lines are the roads? I always wondered what that blue object was, guess that makes sense.

So it would appear then that PV started before the gate you start at in the demo?

Concerning those old computer towers, did you model them yourself? Look nice!
