Oh I found it, that actually might be in the interview! (Not had a chance to listen)

Re: Seamus Blackley Interview (2018-05-14)
Speaking of Seamus Blackley, perhaps I imagined it, but I swear he said quite recently on Twitter that he tried to get an official Trespasser remake off the ground back in 2012 or something, obviously without success. Let me see if I can find the tweet.

Hey this was interesting! Thanks for flagging this up, never seen this before. Crazy how young he was really. A 27 year old managing a project like that...

Re: Beach Extreme Detail Remake
This looks great - be interesting too (if it is not too much hassle) to see some screenshots without the ReShade overlay. It makes the game look so different to my eyes that I struggle a little to make the comparison to how it originally looked! Fantastic work though, this is the kind of thing I wan...

Re: Hi-Res Textures for Trespasser!
Nice work! I was really hoping someone with the skill and patience I lack would take on the capabilities offered by CE to upscale the Trespasser visuals in this way. I'd love to see them in a pack once you are happy with them.

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
I'm curious as to your longer term ambitions for this project I must say. Are there features and fixes you know you want to implement but are yet to? What do you think are the ultimate limits to your changes? Would any future fixes be predominantly graphical or would you be delving into the nuts and...

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
A DX render state I missed to reset after sky rendering. I will make a new beta right away to fix that and the "data" screwup, because I want to have the latter fixed ASAP as it affects existing sky files that have to be re-edited for correct paths due to my mistake. Cool. This all takes ...

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
One thing I do note with this new sky is that there seems to be a knock-on effect with what I think are the transparent parts of textures - the edges of plants and fronds are now outlined in black. See the two attached screenshots to compare - one with new sky, one with old.

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
Just tried this and that did the trick. Impressive looking!Hilwo wrote:Personally, I created a data folder inside my game-files folder and placed them there.
I tried to place them in my cd\data folder first, but this didn't work for me.

Re: A new Trespasser patch/update (Trespasser CE)
Would you mind posting a screenshot of what we should see when we start the beach level? I can't seem to get it to work I fear. Placed the .sky file and the texhw in the data folder of the harddrive copy of the CD, have the enhanced sky enabled in the .ini but don't see any difference in game.
