Re: If Trespasser had Acheivments...

Master hunter - kill all of Sorna's T. Rex's without cheats.

It can be done. ;)

Re: Jurassic Park 4

That sorta sounds like that early script with the militarised dinosaurs with guns and stuff. If they do make a new movie, I really hope they don't go down the road of "here is some weird, secret experiment that InGen was working on which hasn't been mentioned before". I still don't ...

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I don't know, I remember I absolutely loved the Lost World novel. Loved the movie as well, but the San Diego scene and everyone worldwide knowning about Isla Sorna royally ruins the atmosphere for me. I do agree about the ending of TLW film making the island publicly known. I liked it more when the...

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I'm a bigger fan of Speilberg's films than I am of the novels, for a bunch of reasons. :yum: What about the horrible 'Rex in San Diego' scene? Meh, I still thought it was ok. Sorta added to the whole "Ian and co were doing the wrong things for the right reasons" aspect of the movie. Not t...

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I think the problem is that the "older" JP stuff was what we experienced and grew to love. With JP3, they started to go off from that a bit, and by today, I think the thinking of days gone by has been lost and today, a "successful" film is judged by how many explosions it has in...

Definitely.
And you should read the original script (no San Diego).
The Lost World is still my favourite of the three films. But, yeah, San Diego was definitely the weakest part of the movie. :P

Re: Anyone work with the Source engine?

I'd love to see some sort of test/proof-of-concept level done in Source or one of the CryEngines. If someone out there is capable and willing, I say go for it! Discussions like this usually leave me scratching my head. And it seems (from my limited experience) to come up all too often when discussin...

Maybe Anne would have found that feature more useful while trying to get the Hammond case off the island?

Re: Heavily updated Easter Eggs / 'Did you know?' section

Didn't the big patch correct a lot of misplaced items that were floating above the terrain? Did this also correct some of those floating voice overs and lower them to a reasonable height?

Re: Heavily updated Easter Eggs / 'Did you know?' section

Great guide! :) There were a few things in there I had not known before.

A correction on your Ascent 1 page with regards to the description for the Lindstradt rifle - it is possible to kill at the Trespasser tyrannosaurs without cheats, as described in this thread.

Re: In Hammond's house, has anyone noticed...?

You can make the jump, but it's an absolute pain. Years and years ago, before TresEd, someone in the Trespasser community made a scavenger hunt saved game in the town level. One of the items was hidden on the other balcony, and you had to jump over to get it. It took many tries, but I'm sure you can...

Re: Weird mark in plantation house

Yeah, it looks interesting. Might be text, as Makairu suggested, but the resolution is just too low to tell. We’ve seen devs insert their names into other textures in the game, haven’t we? Maybe it’s something along those lines? I'm hoping it is, though I guess the chances of finding out are ...

And I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't describe how to do the puzzles in these spoilers
Uhh, that's kinda the whole point of putting them in spoilers, yeah? :P
