I've seen this just today and wanted to give it a try but no matter what I do it shows the regular game main menu, launches the original game and shows custom levels from the main game installation. I can't seem to get this one to run the contained user made level.

Todays sandboxing games suck though. They throw a bunch of things at your feet and tell you "do something with it on your own" but the game lacks any goal, has nothing but boring and repetitive quests (kill a random guy, a couple of minutes later another one spawns at the same place... why...

The correct terminus here would be "Game-Mechanics before Graphics". AAA most of the time do it the other way 'round and that's what makes them boring, dull and lacking of anything to remember. Another one would be "Graphics doesn't make a good game". Granted Tres did not look ba...

The black textures are gone now but performance is even worse. At places it's around 2-3Hz although my machine can to CryEngine type graphics at good FPS :lol:

Well, I got it loading with NewGame (not a problem to me, I'm using CE only for HD not any other mod). Performance is not so good (which astonishes me on my strong machine) but usable as long as no enemies are around. Okay, the linked CE does run and play the retail trespasser data (albeit missing ground triangles here and there) but I can't get this HD Beach working. First the directory "Mods" does not exist. I created it and extracted the HD directory into it. Then next the file "TP_mod.ini"...

Trespasser Custom Edition, that's the one in the Twilight release? How do you get it working? It starts up but the map list is empty but the MAPS directory contains some demo maps. There's no readme included so I never got it working so far.
