Request: Savegames

I know that some members still like to play savegames like the ones in the old days, when we didn't have TresEd or any other editing tools.

I'm asking anyone who got some cool savegame to upload them and share them here :) It can be from the retail levels or fan levels, with the ATX patch or not. So if you got some awesome savegame please share them :)

not a bad suggestion, quick off topic question though, all your posts are appearing with a small panel of google ads in them, is that supposed to happen

EDIT: no, sorry it's happening with the first post in every thread

Yeah, some ads have been added to the site. They are under the first post and I believe in the end of a topic IIRC

At least it's not those intercepting ads we had at Gamespy :P

Found another savegame named "Ballon". Not sure for which level, tried it with the retails (no patch), TC beta level and the non remake version. TC remake, TC Isle but doesn't seem to be any of them. Would be cool if someone could find out.

I'd presume "Ballon" is a mis-typed "Balloon"...

Opened the save in notepad and found "tc.scn", so it's from a version of the TresCom level.

Yeah but I tried both the remake, the one released before that and the public beta.

The problem with savegames is that if the person who saved them didn't install the game to the same folder as the person who's attempting to open them, they won't load... the path for the level files is stored inside the savegame, and that's where it looks for them.
