In case you don't know what he's talkin' about, take a look at the mainpage fer goodness sakes :P

One thing it confirms though is that the Monorail station was meant to be in Jungle Road as the beach was supposed to end where that second wooden fence is (The first one wasn't there originally :P). Also the InGen Billboard went inside the beach area rather than down the road from it.

Sure part one seems kinda lacking but I assure you there's some interesting things ahead (Including a LOT of content cut from the final game :o ) Be sure to check back to see all of it! :D

Why can't I find anything related to the Monorail station in the "part one" post? :P
With Trespasser, you can!

Heheh, not much to say about BE I guess! I like that sea shells were planned. I'm sure they wanted the shells to open with magnets too. Notice that no mention is made of the plane debris..

Yeah their original concept of the beach still seems pretty much the same as the retail. But we promise you that some of the later levels are sometimes WILDLY different than they ended up being. It's really a fascinating document and it'll be fun to look at it level by level as a community to focus on what it says. :D

Notice that you could get a view over the tree tops when you climbed on the blocks too :P

Lol yes. It seems that in much of the game, they planned for canopies thick enough to obscure the sky. The patchier areas of forest planned were probably still thicker than what we got..

So is this the "prose-based walkthrough" mentioned by Richard Wyckoff in the Trespasser postmortem?
